He Healed My Soul

I’m so thankful that Jesus saved me and that now
when I die I’ll go to heaven!
I was born again when I was about 5 or 6 after I realized that I was
a sinner. First, my big sister started telling me where I would go if I
died, if I wasn’t saved. Hearing that, I was afraid that I was going to
hell because I knew I was bad!
Some time after that, Mom and I somehow got into a discussion about
me not being saved. I felt so bad about my sins, that right there, in that
very room, I prayed and asked God to forgive me. After that, I was rejoicing
because peace flooded my soul! I knew that Jesus had washed away my sins,
and that made me so happy! :-)
Before I was a Christian, I didn’t really think about God. To me, He
just seemed like somebody who lived in the clouds. But now, whenever
I think about Him, I think that He hears me and is very close to me.
Sisters, just think what the Lord has done for us! He saved us! Isn’t
that something we should really be thankful for?!
When I think of hell, I feel like crying because the people who think
they’re Christians, but aren’t, are going there. I can’t bear thinking
of my friends or family wailing and gnashing their teeth. Matt. 13:42
says: “And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing
and gnashing of teeth.”
Two years ago, my brother was trying to light the gas stove to cook
something, and I was watching him. While he was lighting it, the fire exploded
in our faces, and we got scorched! I remember that I ran to the bathroom
and splashed cold water on my face. My mom was in the bedroom, and she
saw me going in there. Mom and Dad checked to see if I could still see
and put aloe vera on my face... Then they laid me in bed. It hurt as though
I had put a whole bunch of jalapenia pepper oil on my face! For days I
stayed in bed, feeling miserable because I felt like I was burning, until
God healed me. But think! God won’t heal you in hell because that is your
punishment, and He doesn’t have any mercy for the people in hell!
You need to be saved now because you could die any day and go
to that dreadful place! “I said, Lord, be merciful unto me: heal my
soul; for I have sinned against thee.” - Psalm 41:4
I thank God for healing my soul, and I hope and pray that He will heal
your soul, too!
